About Me

JimI started out broke! I could cash my monthly paycheck at the corner gas station it was so small. Yes, there were corner gas stations. And yes, I am that old.

Today, my wife and I live in a beautiful high-rise condo, and travel and cruise the world.

Along the way, I have developed excellent money management skills. I discovered that it’s not so much what comes in, but rather what goes out that influences financial health. I have helped many people establish excellent personal finance management skills, and I would be pleased to help you do the same.

My personal money management can be found at Manage Your Money. My blog was started to provide guidance for my grandchildren, and I have now authored several books on personal finance. They can be found on amazon by searching for Manage Your Money.

Although not an accountant, I have served as treasurer for both small local associations and large national associations and corporations.

As always, I am not a qualified financial advisor. I just relate financial management to my own experience which may not resemble yours at all. Advice is frequently worth exactly what you paid for it. Most of mine came from expensive experiences.

I do not provide advice on any specific investments.
